Chelonoidis nigra species complex
Although many references to Galapagos Tortoise seem to treat this as a single species Chelonoidis nigra, there are actually 12 species of Galapagos tortoises currently recognised (and possibly up to 3 more that may be described) at the time this page was created in February 2020 - more info can be found here
