Eunectes murinus gigas (is an invalid subspecies)

Distribution:- South America, east of the Andes

Comments:- This is the world's heaviest snake, growing to over  6.6 m (22 ft). This species is aquatic spending much of its time in water.
This is also the worlds second longest snake, only exceeded in length by the Reticulated Python
(Malayopython reticulatus)
